CAS Wreath using Carols Of Christmas for Inspire. Create. Challenge #003

Hello there
And welcome to another Inspire. Create. Challenge!
This is Challenge #003 and the theme is "Festive" which is a lovely, broad theme and I'm certain that lots of you will have something that you are working on right now that will fit in with this challenge and we'd all love for you to enter it into the challenge for everyone to see :-)
So, my card is a CAS card using just the holly stamp and die from Carols Of Christmas...
I started by drawing in pencil around the largest circle die onto a regular vanilla card layer (cut to 10.2cm x 14.5cm) to make the wreath shape. Then, using the Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke markers, I inked the holly stamps to fill the circle. Erase the pencil line and stamp then heat emboss the sentiment (from Watercolour Christmas, there's some great sentiments and fonts in that set!!).
Ink and stamp some extra hollies before die cutting them out and adding over every other holly on the wreath for some extra dimension. To add the ribbon bow - I like to staple the ribbon about 10-15cm in from the end (leave the other end on the roll, to your right), knot and tie a bow, then trim. This way the bow will be very secure and there will be minimal waste :-)  I can do a video, if that doesn't make sense?? Let me know!
Add this front panel to a thick vanilla card base then finish with some basic pearls, coloured with a sharpie.
Well, that's all from me for today, do remember to check out the Inspire. Create. Challenge blog for lots more "Festive" inspiration from the DT :-)
Thanks for looking today.

Day Three of Three Days Using Wishes All Aglow - CAS Jingle

Hello and welcome to day three of this three day mini series!
I do hope you are enjoying seeing a few makes with this set?
You can see the other two cards in this mini series HERE :-)
So, let's take a look at today's card. This is a CAS card using the set and today I used some Merry Music DSP. The sentiment is backed with a scalloped square using the new Champagne Foil Sheets, they are very classy with a subtle colour that works well on this sahara sand card...
I coloured the lights in this image with a blender pen and ink pads then coated the little lights using the fine tip glue pen for some shine.
I love the simplicity of this card and the ladies who came to class and saw it on display seemed to like it too, what do you think?
Thanks so much for looking today, I do hope you have managed to catch all the cards in this series? You can find the others HERE if you've missed them.
Do you have this stamp set yet?

Hi there and welcome to day two of three days using Wishes All Aglow! I hope you enjoyed yesterdays post? You can find it HERE if you missed it!
And all the cards will be HERE after this weekend!
Today I have a card using the "Ho, Ho, Ho" sentiment from the set teamed with some more of that very versatile Christmas Around the World DSP to make this card...
Yes, we fussy cut this image at card class but I promise, it didn't take hardly any time at all!
Still loving this cable knit embossing folder :-)
And a little bling with some rhinestones finish this card off today.
So that's day two of this mini series for you today! I'll be back tomorrow with another make. Have I converted you to this set yet? You can find it on page 22 of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue
