Medallion Thank-You's

Hello to you all,
I have a set of note cards I made to share with you today, I made these for the lady who hosted the charity ladies day I went to on Friday. It went well and I made a £10 for the charity selling the tree chocs I showed to you which all adds up doesn't it? I also bought a couple of raffle tickets, and guess what?? I won! a lovely thick rug in beautiful browns too, it's lovely, I am saving it though 'till I get my extension done next summer :0) (I will be getting a craft room, YAY!) anyways, onto the gift set...

Now I have to give credit to Monica and Marlene for inspiration for these cards. As you know I love the medallion stamp already but hadn't thought about using it with craft white ink, that is until I saw Monica's note cards. And the lovely black edge is inspired by the Shoe Box Swap we made when we went to Oxford for our Jems weekend. I loved it so decided to re-create it on these, so Thank-You to both you lovely ladies **mwah**
This is the box I made to keep them in, I used a lovely brad from the Hodgepodge Hardware set (1 last share left, see side bar for details on how to get your inky hands on a taster) Sentiment is from Sincere Salutations,
And finally here is the whole set together, I inked up the medallion stamp with Basic Grey ink, stamped it off then stamped it on the corner of the envelope to get the faded look, all supplies SU! and available through me. I hope you like :0)
I'm off to town today with hubby to hit the Christmas present list, back tomorrow, with SU! does home work!!

Christmas Tree Chocs and Canes

Hiya,
This is a scheduled post so hopefully it works ;0)
I should be at a ladies day at around 9.30 this morning, for 4 hours or so, in aid of charity.
I have made the following goodies to sell for the charity.

As you can see I have decorated some north poles and candy canes,

These are Christmas tree chocolates (Elizabeth Shaw mints, why do we only we only eat these at Christmas?? they are yum!) and mini candy canes decorated with card and stamped using the perfect presents stamp set
And finally here is the side view of the fillings :0)
Wish me luck so I can make the charity loads of pennies

Secondly the main picture of the front, DSP is from last years Level 1 Hostess pack in more mustard and not quite navy, sentiment is from Occasional Greetings,
And finally a close up of the fireman :0)

Snowman Soup

Hello,
You should see my dining table at the moment, creativity is really messy you know!!!!
Now, I know I said I was going to share a sneak peek with you today of my bags and tags class but preparations are still underway... Although I did manage to finish the snowman soup I have made for all our friends kiddies Christmas boxes. One more thing to cross of my list of jobs(which at the moment is as long as your arm!) phew!!
Here they are all together, box made from a demo which Jules gave at our Jems weekend, Thanks Jules! They are all decorated with the snowflake from... yes you guessed it, the Winters post set!! lol! stamped in Versamark, Bags in the boxes are SU! as are the little ones inside holding the yummy marshmallows. Also in the bags are hot chocolate sachets and a chocolate lolly (instead of candy canes)
Name tags are made using Short Order alphabet(retired, sadly) in Basic Grey ink, tab punched at the top of the tags, rest of stuff from my stash,
Well that's it folks! must get on with my h-u-g-e list, back tomorrow with a card to share which Zack is taking to a party this afternoon,

Christmas Tags

Good Morning to you all today,
It's been a busy few days but I have made some lovely little gift tags to share with you today, I made these after feeling all inspired by my class on Saturday.
These will be the make and Take at the Ladies day I am attending on Friday. They have been made with the fab Winters Post stamp set again and also the Level 1 hostess set Punches 3 (the scallop square tag), the scallop circle, scallop square and new 1+3/4" circle punches.
As you can see I also made a little box with an acetate slide cover to store them in, we were shown a version of this at convention and thought it would be fab to have a go {just to let you know, it's a lovely and simple box to make :0)} DSP is Merry Moments
and here are the tags tied with linen thread,
Well I hope you like and I will be back tomorrow with {hopefully} a sneak peek of my next class which is on 5th December, (contact details in side bar) It will be a bags and Tags class for all those last minute wrapping essentials, I would love it if you could make it.
Bye for now,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx

Tomorrows Class Cards

Hiya,
I have got the last 2 cards we will be making tomorrow to show you, Looks like it's gonna be a ball!
The first one I have to share with you is a blatant case from my very talented and clever roomie Sarah P (thanks hun xxx) she made a wreath style card with a brill tutorial on her blog, I didn't have all the punches she used so I have adapted it slightly.
I also used circle of friendship stamp for the middle sentiment instead of the Perfect Presents one :0) Berries made using a crop-a-dile and glossy on them to finish,
~~~~~~
This next one is another I have made a few of (loving easel cards!) but this time I used Old Olive as my colour scheme
All materials used are SU! DSP is from the yummy Merry Moments paper pack, Loads of dazzling Diamonds glitter on the ornaments,
Right must dash, got to get kiddies from school,
Hope you like
Christmas Class Sneak Peeks
Good morning,
As promised I have a few cards for you today. We will be making these and a couple more, {which I will share tomorrow,} on Saturday, details in the side bar, email me for more details if you live near Southampton or the New Forest and have a couple of spare hours on Saturday :0) I would love to see you,
This one is Old Olive base with the snowflake from Winters Post stamped in Versamark , Punched Scallop Squares of Merry Moments DSP and the sentiment is from the Level 1 Hostess set Punches 3, bit of old olive striped grosgrain and a crystal brad,
This lovely couple are again from Winters Post, stamped n Choc Chip straight onto twill tape, again using Merry Moments DSP and finally, wrapped with linen thread,
And last of all for today a square card made from Kraft card. We learnt how to make this sweet fan circle at convention and the deer, again from Winters Post {I am in love with this set! did you notice??}, is covered in Crystal Effects,
Right, that's it for today, got loads to do! Pop back tomorrow for a looksie at the rest, and they aren't using Winters Post either, just for a change! ;0) Have a great day,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xxx
Steph's birthday
Hello and Sorry,
I am such a bad blogger. In my (feeble) defense I have had a busy week trying to get ready for Saturdays Christmas Class, I still have one or two spaces left if you live near Southampton, email me for more info sarah-janerae@sky.com
Anyways, onto my little card card I made for the lovely and sweet Steph, who's birthday it was on Sunday, Happy Birthday Steph xxx
I used the recipe for last weeks Anyone for Anya which was 3 papers, 2 buttons and 1 bow, I then realised I couldn't blog it in time to enter as the challenge finished on Sunday and obviously I didn't want her to see it before her birthday! doh! no matter though Steph has received the card and said she liked it, so that's all that matters :0)
Miss Anya coloured with pro markers, SU! Playground buttons tied with linen thread on a flower made with the SU! 5 petal flower punch, and some of their yummy wide stripey grosgrain ribbon,
a bit of decoration on the inside to finish off, sentiment from stash,
That's all for today, I will definitely be back tomorrow with a couple of the cards for my class on Saturday, don't forget to email me quickly before all places are gone!
Hugs, Sarah-Jane xxx
Annabelle's 5!
I do hope it is better weather wherever you are today than it is here ! it is blowing an absolute gale here, but not raining at the moment, I think that's the first time today! Zack is off to Annabelle's birthday party in about 15 minutes so I thought I would quickly pop on and share the card I have just made for her with you all :0)
Here is the front, as you can see I have made a Z fold card using All in the family and the matching accessories set too, I paper pieced the dress, presents and the gifts using the DSP from the Love Stories simply scrappin' kit,
Here is the whole card spread out, the background is made using Pale Plum ink on Pretty in Pink card and the fantastic Circle Circus stamp set (sooo glad I have finally got this set, be prepared for lots of this one!)
Number 5 is from Schoolbook Serif Numbers punched out using the Tag punches, ***FREE*** with qualifying orders in November and December check out this post for more details,
not sure if you can tell but I put a touch of crystal effects on the presents and balloon and for a change I have made the tags suitable for holding down the 'Z' part of the card, I don't very often do this as I usually forget! but I do like the effect,
Right must dash -don't want to be late,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
WOW! WOW! and WOW! again
Good morning to you all today,
I have had the most fantastical (made up word) weekend in Germany at the very first EUROPEAN CONVENTION in Bad Homburg near Frankfurt!!!! I met some amazingly friendly, generous and gorgeous ladies and I have Loads of photos to share with you, don't worry though, I won't show you all 111 today tho! lol!!
The first photo is when we queuing up for registration ~ L-R Nicci, Jules, Karin (my roomie for the first 2 nights *waves*)and Jeannette (my roomie for the last night *waves*) and on the right Bekka and Stevie
I spent lots of time with Jules my SU! mum who was a winner in so many ways, not least as she came 2nd in Demo of the year!!!!!! she also won lots of other awards too,
Well Done Jules :0) **mwah** really proud of you xxx
L-R Jeannette, Jules, Bekka, Natalie, Kim and Nicci.
Thanks to all the ladies I spent time with this weekend, I hope you all had as fab a time as I did and look forward to seeing you next year..................................
..............................IN LONDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wowee, how exciting is that!!???!!!!
and how would you like to be there to join in all the fun?? Why not sign up as a demo with me?and don't forget SU have got a special offer on for a few more days only (you've only got 'till Friday) to receive a special 10% off the already brilliant value starter kit, and not forgetting my offer to add to this is an extra free set of your choice up to the value of £25, only if you sign with me, for more details follow the link in the side bar or email me and I will be more than happy to help you :0)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Almost finished for today; Guess what? I won a prize this weekend!!!!! on a fab little thing called "Prize Patrol" and *look* what I won!!!! a fantastic stamp set called Winter Post which is a Shelly signature collection set I have had my eye on for a very long while, Shelly did a fab demo with this set and I will be having a little play with this after she inspired us all with her projects,

and here are three of the 4 projects we did on Saturday morning on the make and take part of our convention, using the sets we all had for FREE if you attend!! still thinking about signing up??? drop me a line... you really won't regret it...

Stamp sets used were "Circle Circus" ( I have been soooo excited about getting this set and was really looking forward to playing with it finally) and also a little set from the beginning of the catalogue which, I think, could be easily over looked as it is called "New Years Celebrations" but, look again as it soo versatile, it could be used for so many things - 18th, 21st, 50th.. well, all the milestone birthdays, you get the idea, or how about weddings? anniversaries? or just the fab fireworks can be used as a subtle background? Great set, if you want to look at it more closely see page 16 or if you need it now let me know ;0)
Right I have waffled enough for one day! I will share some more piccies with you tomorrow of the gala evening and some of the fabby 100 of so wonderful swaps I received from English, French and German demos **waves** to all you swappers out there, you are all fantastic xxxx,
Big hugs to everyone, Sarah-Jane xxxxxxx
