Aviary Birthday

Hello,
As you can probably guess I ran out of time to edit the mini film, soon, I promise! But I did get lots of other crafting done, all my Halloween treats are ready now :-) and I have almost finished designing  the next Stamp-a-Stack class too!
So I do have another card using my most favourite stamps (this week) in the new catalogue! Aviary, I really do love this set and was thrilled to see it had made it "over the pond" ;-)
I used a colour combo of Rose Red and Perfect Plum for this card,
This elegant stand is included in the set, see page 41 for all the stamps in the set
Rose Red seam binding ribbon with a Plum button and sentiment is the old faithful Sincere Salutations, I love how they all fit in the large oval punch
and a little decoration inside to finish too ;-)
If you would like to have a play with this set then why not come along to my next class running on the 12th, 14th, 15th and 16th November, I still just have a couple of spaces left, message me for more info or to reserve your place! See HERE for the cards we will be making.
Well, that's me for today, back soon with more cardy goodness!
We are off for a walk in the forest with the dog and a leisurely tea tonight too!
Have a great, and hopefully inky, day :-)

Charlies Birthday

Hello!
I am sooo glad it is the weekend, I am going to spend it creating, probably just a mess, but creating non the less :-)
So, a card... Yes I had to make another card for a 7 year old, there are sooo many boys 7th birthdays in the next few weeks so you will be seeing lots for this age group for a while ;-)
Charlies birthday was yesterday and this is the card I made for him...
I used the great "Frightful Sight" DSP (page 98 in the new catty if you want to have a look)
These fab papers, as you can see, are not just for Halloween!
They are available in my PAPER SHARE, just ONE share left, if you would like this last share please email me to reserve your spot!
I stamped the little monster from Make a Monster onto Watercolour Paper and coloured him with an aqua painter, then sat him on a punched border made using the new Dotted Scallop Border punch
Sentiment is the FAB new hostess set "Happiest Birthday Wishes" and it could be yours for FREE too, why not join my NEW stampers 6 club and get hold of your own??
and I popped another little monster inside too :-)
And an arty angle to finish today
O.K. I'm off for today, I hope you like today's card and I will be back tomorrow (hopefully) with a little video, but at the very least a card ;-)

Happy Birthday Kiera

Hello,
Another busy day here, Christmas Stamp-a-Stack class again today, I am going to be able to sing all those great Christmas songs again today ;-)
So, I have a cute birthday card with a matching gift card holder too, I have used Flirtatious papers and Aviary to make these
With Pretty in Pink Satin ribbon and a touch of ruffle Pool Party Ribbon too,
Love this little Owl
Dimensional view
and a little bird inside to pretty it up a bit
And with a matching gift card holder too, the Gift Card holder is made using the Two Tags die, full details are a part of my Handbags and Glad Rags Tutorial.
Inside the holder
I even stamped the paper bag to match
Picture heavy post today,
Before I go I must remind you that there is now less than two weeks left to take advantage of the FREE extra 5 ink pads and a mixed pack of the gorgeous In Colour card (Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder were used on this card set) bonus products when you sign up to become a demonstrator with SU! Phoebe's Lego Birthday

Good Morning!
Super quick post today with the other Lego card I promised to share with you last week, I have 5 more lovely ladies this morning for the Christmas Stamp-a-Stack class arriving around 9.30 for mince pies and festive music to get us all in the festive spirit, did you know it is only 68 days 'till Christmas?
I am going to be offering a Wish List service and Gift Vouchers this Christmas time, more details coming soon!
But for now, back to the Lego card, all the measurements for making your own Lego bricks from card are linked in my side bar, along with all the other tutorials :-)
 Sentiment is from Curly Cute,
I glued some ends of the bricks down and raised others for plenty of dimension
and finally added a little clip with some yummy spotty ribbon in Melon Mambo, this one is retired but there is a new spotty ribbon with scalloped edges, extra yum!
Well, that's all for today, I will be back tomorrow with a card and gift card holder to match,
Thanks for stopping by today,

Zack is 7!

Hello there!
It was my youngest son's birthday last Monday, and well, I have been chasing my tail ever since!
So, I have his card to share with you today, I used the retired Celebrations papers to make it but teamed it with the new stamp set Pennant Parade and the Petite Pennants Punch,
I left the pennants hanging from the ribbon, not stuck down, iykwim ;-)
The 7 is form the Timeless Type Alphabet dies and covered them with crystal effects
and some stamping inside to finish
and finally I made some mini cracker favours using the Candy Wrapper (SU! exclusive) die and Celebrations papers again as I had loads of it left ;-),
I absolutely *LOVE* this die, sooo many uses! Birthdays, Christmas, Halloween, Easter....
Well, that's it for today, I am meeting the lovely Laura later today for lunch and to finalise some very exciting plans, more details to follow shortly :-D
Back tomorrow with more cards for you,
Stampin' Hugs for today though,

I recently purchased this blank "Boo" hanger and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it- cover it with the gorgeous SU! Halloween DSP!
and I tied some yummy satin ribbon around the hanger part
and a bit of inking around the edges gives it a creepy, slightly dirty look
Well, I hope you like today's project, if you would like to join in with the challenge, hop on over and have a go, you just need to use one SU! product to enter, go and have a peek at the other DT projects too, some fab things as always :-)
