Cool Treats Concertina Card for a 16th Birthday.

Hello there,
I have another cute concertina card for you today, this time using Cool Treats in a pretty pink pirouette  and pool party colourway :-)
You can see the original One Wild Ride, boy version I made, HERE.
I made this one for my daughter and I know I promised a video for this so I cleverly filmed this one as I was making it...
However... I made a big boo boo in my measurements and didn't realise until far too late in the making of this card and unfortunately, I just ran out of time to re-do it :-(
I'm so sorry but I still have it on my list and will get it done in the next week or so for you, for sure :-)
Love these Cool Treats ice creams. I used the sprinkles and the strawberry from the Cool Treats stamp set with Versamark to make a subtle background.
And don't you just love those cute little die cut strawberries and cherries?
I also used the Number of Years stamps with the matching Large Number Dies.
And of course, a matching box to send this card in.
Well,  Zoe seemed happy with her card, what do you think?
Thanks for looking today!

Using Jar of Love by Stampin' Up! for a Floral Jar Card

Hi there,
Today's card uses the Jar of Love stamps and dies as they were designed for, in a jar!
I have a very full jar making a pretty, summery looking card, take a look...
I added the solid banner from the hostess set 'Time of Year' which I heat embossed in silver and I teamed it with the Happy sentiment is from 'Banners for You'
A few dimensionals and stamping on thick white card gives this card a little pop!
And one final photo for today :-)
I hope you liked todays card and thanks so much for stopping by,

So, here is the tutorial for you :-)
And one final photo for today!
So, I do hope this inspires you to use your washi tape and maybe even cut into that DSP too!

Using SU! Perfect Mix Stamp Set with a FREE Ribbon Layering Photo Tutorial

Hello!
I have another card today using the Perfect Mix stamp set. This time I used the images in the set to create a background which I watercoloured in pastel colours using my SU! ink pads for what I think is a very 50's vintage feel, take a look....
Again I stamped with Memento ink on shimmer white card to watercolour.
I was inspired by some spatulas I have here at home in these colours ;-)
I have seen this ribbon effect a lot in SU! catalogues so I wanted to give it a go but I found it to be a little fiddly so I decided to make a little tutorial for you sharing an easy way of creating this effect, please scroll down!
This is how I added the ribbon effect behind the sentiment on this card!
and one final photo for today :-)
So, I hope you enjoyed todays card and little tutorial? Let me know if you have a go!

I'll be back soon with more, 'till then,
Happy stampin'
